Group #3 SPC 1017 8:00 AM

 Starting with group number 3, since this time it was backward, and we started with this one. This is my group; we had many difficulties along the way to get to the final day. We even had some people who did not know what they had to do the same day as the presentation, even though we were very persistent in trying to get everyone together and ensuring everyone knew what they had to do.  When we finally made it after a day of delay we were in synch, everyone knew what had to be done, and in my opinion, the presentation went pretty well. However, there was a moment when we got interrupted by a member of one of the other groups, but even there, we were able to get back on track seamlessly. Stephanie did a fantastic job making the template for the brochure since no one else in the group actually knew how to do it.    Theme presenations    ⃔ Coordinating and working on two presentations within a large group posed some challenges, but thanks to the support of helpful groupmates and effective group dynamics, it turned out to be a successful and decent presentation. Group three presented first, which was interesting because it was out of order. Presenting first plays a crucial role in setting the stage for the following presentations.          I feel fortunate to have been a part of my group and this class and to have been able to work on this assignment. As a member of group 3, I think I could have done better and helped my group more but overall, I think I did pretty good with my part and feel like everyone else in my group did great. I feel like my group members, their presentations, and their performances were great. I can’t really think of anything wrong they did as they all had good contributions to the project and did amazing work with their slides and how they presented them. The way we as a group made the presentation I think highlights how important this topic is. I think everyone presented clearly and showed the importance of the topic we were presenting. Of course, there is always room for improvement, and we should strive to create even better presentations in the future.   Group 1 had the chance to go last this time. They had a presentation based on Self-Care. Self-care comes in many different forms. When I took the time to search up what self-care meant, the definition that Google provided me with said ”t he practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health. ” I find this definition to be very straight to the point. Self-care can be physically, mentally, or emotionally improving your health. Now although this topic  could be a pretty hefty topic to speak on because of how diverse it could be but Group 1 did a great  job in including all of the important ideas as well as information. They also did a great job presenting all the information to us. They provided the information in such a manageable way which truly allowed the audience to have a clear understanding on what self-care is and what it looks like.      The quest for individual and societal well-being has grown in importance in an environment that is continuously beset by difficulties and unknowns. Three talks on different but related topics—paying it forward, eating healthy, and self-care—offered insightful information on promoting constructive change. Every talk highlighted the importance of making deliberate and proactive decisions in creating a happier, healthier life.      Giving a nice act to another person without anticipating something in return is referred to as paying it forward. Every individual that gains from a gesture of kindness is urged to do a good deed for another person in an effort to start an ongoing cycle of compassion and charity.  SPC 1017-8:00 am class Theme presentations, healthy eating, self care, paying it forward. I had the opportunity to attend my classmates presentation from our Communications class leaded by our professor Ms.Sinkoff. The presentations were about all the aspects that involved how live a better life, at least that is how I see it in my perspective. There were 3 topics; healthy eating which belonged to group 2, selfcare belonging to group 1 and paying it forward which is from my group. There were things that were taken in consideration like being kind and do an action without expecting a benefit out of it, having a healthy lifestyle like working out and having a balanced diet, also taking care of your mental and emotional self.       Let me just start off with how in love I was with this presentation's theme. My group had the topic of Paying it Forward and it was attached to a movie as well. When I watched the movie I felt that it was so heartfelt. It all started with one person and eventually reached a lot of people around the world. Paying it Forward is such a beautiful movement and I felt like I could've talked for hours on this topic while also incorporating some of my life experiences when it came to paying it forward.
