SPC 1017-8:00 am class My thoughts on the groups presentations I had the opportunity to attend my classmates presentation from our Communications class leaded by our professor Ms.Sinkoff. The presentations were about all the aspects that involved communicating with other people in a working or studying environment, like being aware of our mates feelings, situations, tactics to get better at getting at our goals, etc. I am going to be completely honest on how I felt before presenting I felt a little frustrated about my organization as a leader I think I could have done better, and help my group out even more. Getting to know my classmates was a good start to understand each other and how we could all succeed during this assignment. I feel very satisfied with my group members presentations and their performances, of course there is always space for improvement but overall they did great. I feel that I didn’t do very good, I feel if I have managed my time more properly I could have memori...

Groups Presentations, my thoughts Starting with Group number one which presented Chapter 3 Intercultural Communication, I would like to say that they were extremely organized, even though there were some people who were not present, they were able to get through it with minor inconvenience. They were the first group to present without ever meeting each other, which is crazy for me, to make a whole presentation via zoom or text and make it seem so good, that everyone knew their parts with no problems. Their slides had just enough information but not too much that it was overwhelming to see, and they had pictures, making it easier to associate with the text and the information being said. Learning about the culture and how we can all communicate is such an important topic in a country like this one since it is mostly made up of people from all over the world, and sometimes it can be difficult for some people to get used to it. This is where problems arise with, for example, cultural ...

Feedback on Group Presentations Writing about the other groups and the great work they put in reminds me of the first week of this class. The first week I didn't know what to expect really but I was caught completely off guard when I realized there was a presentation and it was due in a few weeks. I instantly began to feel the stress and anxiety that comes with not knowing if I will do well. Thankfully, my group had amazing leadership in people like Juan, and Nicole just to name a few. These leaders helped tremendously and also made it easy to get my slides done and prepare my presentation. This took the headache away and relieved me of the stress completely. Thank you group 3 firstly for the great leadership and also for a smooth and in my opinion great learning experience on the subject of presentations, and leadership. A special thank you to Joseph from group one, he did extremely well presenting and also gave some kind words of advice that helped in my presentation. Group 1- ...

As freshman in college, and not knowing anyone in the class, I think that everyone got together well in order to have the group presentation ready on time. As the first presentation of the semester, I think that everyone did a great job. Everyone got together as a group, with no hesitations, and got the work done. We all got the main points from each chapter and presented them. Another thing that I noticed was that no one had an issue with the due dates given to their group. However, there are some aspects that everyone needs some improvement on, but that will come with time and more practice.         Group 1 presented chapter 3: Intercultural Communication. By the looks of their presentation, it caught my attention, but not as much as I would've loved it to. They had a lot of pictures that ties into their topics, but there was also a lot of text on each slide. Most of the members of this group read from their slides and didn't elaborate as much as...

SPC 1017 - 8:00am class Group 1: The first group had the least time to prepare for the topic presentation, having more pressure to have the work done before the deadline. This short time in other groups may cause difficulties when organizing and delegating responsibilities, but from my perception, group one was able to organize itself and prepare a concise presentation about the importance of Intercultural Communication. First group members decided to focus more in what they will present to the audience verbally than the content in the presentation, which expose a clear organization of thoughts and a good ability to express them. Some of the red flags that I was able to see were very common mistakes that we as learners commit. For example, as mispronunciation of words, which is usual due to the public speaking anxiety, or lack of simplicity while taking about technical terms. Additionally, I think some members of group one for whom respect I will not mention get paused while presenting...
