Group 1:, They were the last group to present this time around. Group 1 is a very small group but their presentation and study guide overall came out good. When they presented their study guide they really had me bored out and it was kind of hard for me to concentrate on what they were saying. For the study guide they basically just read everything I read from the board which is why it was hard for me to concentrate. Everyone in the group didn't use their presentation voice, they were all very monotone. No eye contact was made to the audience. When it came to presenting their themed presentation, they had to do it through Zoom and I feel like they did better than if they would've done it in person. I feel like they had a little bit more confidence this time around and they also gave really good information. This, again, was a very small group and they did everything in their power to do the best they could do. I'm very prod of them for the work they did. They pulled through and didn't give up.
Group 2: This group was the sandwich group, having the proper time to delegate responsibilities but not to procrastinate. Some of the members of group two faced several challenges as for example facing the awful public speaking anxiety, in which some members which name I will no mention to respect their privacy were consumed by the fear of rejection and left the the room after making amateur errors as for example friezing or the mispronunciation of terminology words. Regardless of that, some other faced those challenges and gave a good presentation exposing the importance of healthy eating habits. They talked about health ways of eating, history of human diet, and other minor subtopics. Group two also expose how different cultures are expressed in food plates, giving a variety of example of healthy plates in different regions of the world. Finally. they also included the anatomy of a healthy eating plate, which is key to base a healthy diet which everyone in the audience can apply for their personal life.
Group 3: Finally, the cherry of the cake, we group three. we had the opportunity to have several personalities on our group, some highlighted themselves for their leadership helping other and delegating responsibilities since the first day the presentation was assigned as for example Juan our group leader. By being such a big group we have difficulty on our organization, and adding that this time we were the first ones on presenting put even more pressure on us. I believe that the ones that did their assigned slides did a great job and were able to show up. Other had some others difficulties where they were not able to to present and either work on their respective responsibilities. Leaving informational gaps that were not touch and that caused us to lost some of the audience attention. I also wanted to express my gratitude and highlight group members as Nicole that make an enormous effort by making sure that all slides had a similar theme and proper pictures, she also helped several members of the group with their struggles and without her the group effectiveness would have been much less. Finally regardless of the issues that we had in the presentation day with the slides, and the confusion that this caused, we were able to present about our topic of paying it forward, having great example as giving to homeless youth or participating in community service project.
