Group #3 SPC 1017 8:00 AM

 Presentation    In the beginning when class started the presentation was due a couple a weeks later.  We are put in groups with random students, which we had to communicate with each other. As the classes goes by we manage to put a plan together to understand where we are in the group. Everyone shared their concern with the presentation and what was missing. Our leaders are very helpful to remind each one of us the dues and make sure everything was done as well having us all in the same page. The presentation is very helpful to get to know other students, we become more sociable. I truly do like that we get to socialize and it's not like just teaching straight forward.   As someone who is new to the college scenery and hated working in groups or presenting at that, I can say that this project definitely changed my point of view on the way that I look at group projects as well as presenting. I feel as though my group, and all the other groups presenting were able to come together and create something to be proud of . Working in groups allows us to get to know one another and feel more comfortable in class. Although I always get nervous and my hands tremble as I speak in front of everyone in the classroom, I try my best to just breathe through it and see it as if I was just speaking to my classmates like normal. I wasn't expecting to have a presentation due within the first couple weeks it surprised me so that instantly brought me stress and also anxiety.   SPC 1017-8:00AM Class Group 1 Group 1 presented chapter 3 which was about intercultural communication, the differences or perceived differences between people and how that can affect how they interact with each other. The cultural distinctions they mentioned were ideal and real values, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, race, religion, socioeconomic status, disabilities, collectivism vs individualism, uncertainty avoidance, power distance, and masculinity vs femininity. They not only compared and contrasted these distinctions but they also showed how they may affect how people with these distinctions could communicate differently as a result of them. I recently had the privilege of being completely immersed in the world of leadership thanks to three enthralling presentations. These talks, which each focused on a different aspect of leadership, not only informed me but also filled me to the brim with a fresh admiration for this skill. I am eager to share my experience with these outstanding presentations, which ignited my love for leadership, in this post. As they started talking, their words entrapped us. SPC 1017-8:00 am class My thoughts on the groups presentations I had the opportunity to attend my classmates presentation from our Communications class leaded by our professor Ms.Sinkoff. The presentations were about all the aspects that involved communicating with other people in a working or studying environment, like being aware of our mates feelings, situations, tactics to get better at getting at our goals, etc. I am going to be completely honest on how I felt before presenting I felt a little frustrated about my organization as a leader I think I could have done better, and help my group out even more.
